Inauguration of Modulab™ 2.0 in the Hospital del Niño

The Ministry of Health of the Government of Panamá recently inaugurated the Modulab™ Laboratory Information System in the “Hospital del Niño” (Children´s Hospital). This hospital provides services to about 250,000 people every year.

The system automates processes in phlebotomy, pre-analytical, testing services including Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology and Immunology, as well as post-analytical results, statistics and more.

Visitors during the inauguration ceremony included the First Lady of the Government of Panamá, Mrs. Marta Linares de Martinelli; the Minister of Health, Mr. Franklin Vergara; and the Medical Director of the hospital, Mr. Alberto Bissot.
